Another Birthday Card

Hello there everyone, I hope you are all well. This week I’d like to show you a card I made for a gentleman who asked me to make a card for his children to give to their mommy on her birthday. I was very honoured that he asked me and I had so much fun making it!

I used an old Friday Sketchers Challenge layout by Jorunn.

And here is my card:

I love the bright, vibrant colours of the paper!  I didn’t exactly follow the sketch – I like to leave a little room for my own creativity!

I love this stamp...I thought it would work very well on this card because the mommy is reading to her child!

The dark purple, spotty ribbon goes well with stripes and I attached a ribbon slider to it. I also put a pearl in each of the four corners.

I went to Jeffery’s Bay on Tuesday with this family and had such a lovely time. They wanted me to come with to look after their nine month old baby girl while the mommy browsed. I babysit for them in exchange for internet time on their computer – we have it all beautifully worked out! They treated me to lunch and also took me to the scrapbook shop – Bohemian Scrapsody. It is such a lovely shop and the ladies are so friendly and helpful! I bought a few co-ordinating papers to add to my collection!

So that is my card, I hope you like it!

I would also like to enter the following challenges:

Send a Smile for Kids Challenge - Birthday Girl
Bunny Zoe's Challenge - Happy Birthday with lots of Pearls
Everybody Art Challenge - Happy Birthday
Lexi's Creations - Ribbons but no bows or knots
Anyone for Anya - Birthday Card
 Have a wonderful week further

Blessings,
Kelly-Anne
