Thursday Pearls

“Trying to do the Lord’s work in your own strength is the most confusing, exhausting, and tedious of all work. But when you are filled with the Holy Spirit, then the ministry of Jesus just flows out of you.”

It is a precious reminder from a dear saint of God that we need HIS strength to do the work He has called us to - many hours of sitting at his feet, listening, learning, and growing - in HIS strength, we can do all things. A beautiful pearl for Thursday my dear! Praying the Lord is blessing, encouraging, and helping you in this new transition in your life! Much love to you!

That is so true! I also enjoyed reading Corrie Ten Boom' story when I was young.

Ah, yes, Kelly-Anne, this is so beautiful! I have long loved Corrie ten Boom's quotes (and her book), and I especially love this one. A wonderful reminder that what we do should be done as the Lord leads and with His strength, not hours. Yes, I can do all things through Him!! Precious painting! Hugs, sweet friend!
