Sewing Some New Darlings....

I just had to show you the darling bunnies I have been sewing lately...

First I made the calico rabbit bodies and gave them sweet little embroidered faces and claws on their paws...  And not to mention some cute pink cheeks!

...Then my dear mom helped me design the gorgeous dresses and I had a delightful time on my sewing machine creating matching outfits for them!

I think these bunnies would make gorgeous gifts for both young and old alike!  I can just imagine a sweet bunny sitting on a bookshelf surrounded by inspiring sewing and crafting books or at the foot of a baby's bed...:)

I hope all my dear readers are having a beautiful week so far!
We are enjoying some lovely sunshine after the heavy rains that fell over the weekend...

But there is a definite nip in the air in the early mornings which leads me to believe that autumn is on its way...
Oh!  I do so love autumn  and all the delightful activities it brings...walks in the forest to collect pine cones for winter fires...maybe a few cosy evenings spent stitching or knitting while watching Wives and Daughters or Ever After...

Now, I must get back to my lovely sewing...  I've had such a wonderful day thus far and the cherry on the top was recieving a sweet letter from a dear friend!  ...Aren't letters wonderful?!

Ooh, enjoy your autumn! Those are a couple of fun movie choices. :)
By the way, I'm sorry for not commenting lately. For some reason your posts don't show up on my newsfeed. :(

Oh, sweet Kelley-Anne, you have such a delightful blog, and I just love these precious bunnies you've made! And I love your photography. I noticed where you live, and I see you are enjoying milder weather like we are here in South Florida. Wishing you a wonderful week! Hugs!

Hello Kelly-Anne, I just had to stop over and tell you I was just thinking about some rag dolls I made years ago, and it got me thinking about making some bunnies! Did you use a pattern for these cute little bunnies? I think one day you will have such a treasure of written blog posts to keep always. Like a journal of your journey.I appreciate your kindness and your wisdom and the desire to be a Godly woman! And you are well on your way to one day being a Godly wife and mother!
Thank you for being an inspiration to say many ladies and young and old...
Love, Roxy

Good morning dear Cheryl! What a sweet comment! Thank you so much for your lovely words...:)
It is such a JOY to meet you through the world of blogging and I'm so glad you enjoyed your visit here!
Yes, we are enjoying some milder weather... A bit of rain here and there and a few chilly mornings, but other than that it is still very much summer with very hot days in between!
May you have a beautifully blessed day!
Love and hugs, Kelly

Dearest Roxy...
Your kind words blessed me so much this morning!
Thank you for your Godly encouragement and the wonderful blessing that you are through your blog!
...It is so wonderful to look back and see the beginnings of my journey... I was just a wee little thing of 12 when I started blogging! Yes...how wonderful to have a record of this beautiful life...
Oh! Rag dolls are just so gorgeous too! And rabbit bodies are so similar!
I used the delightful pattern from Crafts Beautiful magazine, February 2013... It is by the creative Helen Philips and I'm sure it can still be found on their website! I hope you enjoy making some sweet bunnies:)
Thank you again for your lovely visit! Hugs and much love to you - have a truly wonderful day!
