Thursday Pearls

"The most influential of all educational factors is the conversation in a child's home."

~ Sir William Temple

"Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honor dwelleth."

~ Psalm 26:8

May your Thursday be wonderfully blessed as you strive to bring glory to the Lord's name in your homes today, my friends!

Hello sweet girl. Thursday pearls are always a lovely spot in my day. This one is no different. It reminds me of the joys of homeschooling. For some reason you have been on my heart of late. I don't know why, but when the Lord does this I just know to pray :)
Dear Lord,
Please bless Kelly-Anne and her family. I know they are preparing for a new baby and I ask that all would go smoothly and peacefully with that process. For Kelly-Anne, please comfort her daily as she walks the footsteps of woman-hood and maturing as we have all done before her. I remember the road can be filled with questions and distractions, so please guide her in wisdom. Thank you for her kind heart and the love she shares with all of us in her posts. Thank you for placing her within her family, able to help share and guide her little sisters. Lord we praise You today and always. In Jesus name, Amen.
I'm not sure how, but I stumbled upon a blog with a cute little pattern that made me think of you. Perhaps a cute toy you would enjoy making for the new baby (pattern is shown). The blog is, I think, French, so I just clicked for Google to translate it (-smile).
Have a lovely day!
Hugs and a cup of tea,
Heather in Southern California, USA :)

Oh my, Kelly-Anne, this is so true! The conversation in a child's home is amazing, as well as the atmosphere and tone of the conversation. May we all strive to glorify Him in all we do and say! Hugs, precious friend!

I have enjoyed scrolling through your recent posts this stormy morning! The quote you posted here is so true. I was thinking this morning of the song, "Getting to Know You" from the musical, "The King and I". It takes time and attention to bond with our family members.
