Papercrafting Happiness...

 Happy Monday, sweet friends...
A new week has happily begun, and I am enjoying a lovely time
away visiting family and precious friends...:)

But I thought I would show you a few of the cards
I made just recently...  Is there anything more delightful than
creating with pretty papers, ribbons, gems and pearls...?

Oh, I always love playing with my supply of cardmaking goodies!
And I especially love making cards for dear people...
It brings me such pleasure...how true the
Bible is when it says it is more blessed to give than to receive!

"I have shewed you all things
how that so labouring ye ought to
support the weak, and to remember the
words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is
more blessed to give than to receive."

~ Acts 20:35

~

This adorable bird card is for a very sweet friend of mine...
I just had to add some of my new hessian twine, and a few striking green gems,
and a simple greeting completed the card...

Do you enjoy using gems on your paper creations...?

I always seem to have a little trouble creating a masculine card!
I made this simple blue card for my dad for Father's day, hence the 'F'
which I created using some of the more masculine buttons in my little collection...
Again, I used some hessian twine, as well as dark blue grosgrain ribbon

Do you like making masculine cards...?

...And as many of you know, sweet Miss Rebekah celebrated her
sixth birthday in June!  I thought a simple
monochramtic card would be just lovely, so I layered different
patterned and textured green papers and added a length of
gorgeous lace as well as a cute cream coloured straw hat!

How do you like creating monochramatic cards...?

~
Thank you for stopping by, my friends...
Wishing all my dear readers a wonderful and very blessed week!
I look forward to visiting each of you very soon!

Beautiful cards -- I'm a little partial to the first one with the adorable little birdie on it! Nothing like a handcrafted card to say "Hello" or "I care about you!"

I've just finished in this moment to write to a friend that is much more blessed to give than to receive, of course, I do agree with all my heart, dear Kelly-Anne !
Your papercrafting creations are so lovely, I wonder the joy of who's going to receive them as a gift.

Have a blessed day
Dany

Kelly, Those cards are adorable! I enjoy making cards as well though I need to get some more card making supplies. I organized my supplies the other day. Hoping to make some more soon.
Thanks for sharing the cards you made!

Kelly-Anne, what lovely cards to bless your friends and family with.
You really have many talents!...The sweet birdie is my favourite.

Glad to hear you are having a good timme away..!

I have never made a card with craft materials before, would you believe.
I usually paint a small scene,… but the results are very varied and I am sometimes left with a not very good end product which I can't send...awkward!

Oh, sweet Kelly-Anne, these are sweet cards and made with loving hands. I love the precious and loved items like gems, buttons, and lace! And I also struggle terribly with masculine cards...I so prefer pretty cards for girls!! These will be loved for a long time, precious friend, and thank you for sharing them with us. And I love the wonderful passage from Proverbs 31. Hugs and love, sweet friend!

They are lovely Kelly-Anne! I don't have the time to make cards but I love it when I get one. It would take me forever to make a card because I can never decide on how I want to make. Years ago I went to a scrapbooking night and everyone got several pages done and I just got one done. I can be very indecisive. Hope you're still having a great time! Diane

What creative cards you've made! :) I like the buttons on the Father's Day card. I made my Dad a camera-shaped card colored with colored pencil (red, like my camera) for his birthday this month. It's definitely off the beaten path, but it's not feminine. :)

Your creations are wonderful. Just yesterday, I was admiring the card making supplies at a local craft store. I have not made any special occasion cars, but I have made a few "pockets" or envelopes for tea bags to enclose with a greeting. Enjoy the remainder of your trip.

Three lovely cards Kelly Anne, all very interesting and different. I like the Father's day card best and the way you have used the buttons. I could so easily get interested in card making, but just no time for everything.

I love the pretty bird and these soft colors. I'm sewing now but one day I'll clean things up and work on paper crafts. You've inspired me! Hugs, Diane
