A Few of my Favourite Things in...March

Hello friends and a very happy April to you!
I know many of my readers are so happy to finally welcome spring to their different parts of the world after a chilly winter,
while I am enjoying the delights of Autumn and planning a few exciting projects to undertake during the cooler days which are fast approaching...

How quickly March flew by!
I can't believe I am sitting down to write yet another 'Few of my Favourite Things' post for this year and starting to organise and pack my things for a short trip away...

~

This month...

...I shared a tutorial for making paper beads on my friend, Paige's blog, Sunday Best and All the Rest...

...I participated in Stephanie's lovely tea cup exchange for the first time and received a beautiful tea cup...
This exchange was such fun and I met wonderful and inspirational ladies through the blog party which followed...

~

Heartmade's blog was a little quiet in March while I busily worked on creating stock for while I am away...
But here are a few things I created which I didn't get to share with you...

Sweet elephant softies

Fabric house ornaments

My sewing machine was indeed humming this month!  I purchased some pretty new fabrics to make peasant tops for myself and just finished the last one today!
I look forward to showing you the end results sometime soon!

We enjoyed a few yummy tea breaks...

And plenty of baking...  Recipe coming soon!

Nancy and I played at a small concert with our string ensemble group...
After much consideration, I have actually laid aside my cello as life has been getting very full and I wasn't able to practice as much I needed to...
It was certainly wonderful to play with other strings and to be a part of the beautiful sound of instruments ~ I will always remember this concert fondly!

I shared a tutorial for making these beautiful decoupage eggs which my sisters and I enjoyed putting together!

...And photographs of our Easter tree...

I also wrote about the true meaning of Easter and how important it is to celebrate giving thanks to Jesus for what He so lovingly did on the cross for us.

We had a wonderful afternoon out and I captured some special memories with my camera...

The little girls played dress-up together...

~

...And so the beautiful month of March came to an end...

Thank you so much for your kind visits and comments ~ I give thanks to Jesus for each and every one of you and the wonderful blessing that you are to me!

May April be a blessed month for you!

With love,

Dearest Kelly-Anne... you play in a string ensamble group? How delightful, my friend! How I would love to hear you play :) In fact, wouldn't it be grand to play together... you on your lovely instrument and me on the piano *smiles*

It was a joy to see what you were up to last month - you are one busy bee! And may I just say you make the sweetest items EVER! I love seeing your sewing creations. You have a gift...

Thinking of you and wishing you a blessed Easter. Love and hugs!

Oh, how sweet! I always loved playing dress up when I was little too. :)

For some reason your posts aren't showing up in my Blogger feed. Hmm... I guess I'll just have to pop over here more often to check for posts!

Hugs,
Michelle ^_^
