Thoughtful Thursday

“There is something deeply satisfying about going into my garden, picking a selection of herbs and flowers, and brewing them into a tea to make someone feel better.  And to use homemade hand cream where I know every single ingredient and its origin.  Or simply to add freshly-picked parsley to scrambled eggs...”

Jane Griffiths, Jane’s Delicious Herbs

“A garden required patient labour and attention.  Plants do not grow merely to satisfy ambitions or to fulfil good intentions.  They thrive because someone expended effort on them.”

 Liberty Hyde Bailey

“And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden and there he put the man whom he had formed.”

Genesis 2:8
Hoping your Thursday is a very thoughtful one indeed!

Hello Kelly. It is my first commeting here, I discovered your blog few days ago. Wow. It is full of encouragement and I must say that I was delighted to discover that you live in the Western Cape. I am in the Free State. It is good to know that there are other young ladies here in SA that love the Lord and are standing up for the truth.

God bless you kelly

Now I feel ready to get my hands dirty planting (and, of course, weeding) again! It will be time to get started in the garden again soon here.
