52 Crafts in 52 Weeks – Week Twenty Five

Although I am not quite up-to-date with sharing photos of all the projects I’ve tackled so far in 2013, I thought it would be best if I kept on sharing something every Tuesday as before.  If I have extra time during the week, the crafts I’ve missed will be posted then.

I really enjoy crafting in the evening - this is my way of unwinding after a busy day packed with gardening, preserving, animal care, cooking, schooling, music practice, etc.  I love to sit on the couch and knit, do some cross stitching or play around with paper crafts.  Where I can I try new crafts during the day.

Have a look at this beautiful fabric flower brooch I made for my sister, Beth...

I copied the flower made in Ideas Magazine October 2013, but used different material.  With spring fast approaching, a light and cheerful brooch will work wonders for sprucing up a plain winter outfit until the warmer weather comes around and the dresses come out.

I also thought I would show you this very simple but pretty hair band made out of nothing but beige stretch lace and fabric glue.  I thought that I very small material bud would look lovely added to this hair band, too...

What crafty things have you been busy with lately?

Thank you for your sweet comment, Hair Stylist! I always love hearing from you:-) I'm sure your friend will feel very special that you made her something - handmade gifts are always far more personal than bought ones! Much love, Kelly-Anne xx
