I punched out three flowers, then I glittered them and added a gem.
The label says 'Get Better Soon', as it is for a little girl who has been quite sick.
And now for the gift; a tin with biscuits inside wrapped in pink tissue paper. My mom pinned a flower brooch, which she made had made, on the packet! She then tied a bow around the top!
These are the yummy biscuits we put inside!
What a lovely gift to receive when you are feeling ill!
Have a wonderful week further!

A Praise Party
How often do we praise God for all the wonderful blessings He gives to us? Not often - we are usually complaining and asking for things.
In Thessalonians 5:16-18 it says that we are to give thanks to God in all circumstances - good or bad! It is easy to praise God when things are going right in your life, but it isn't so easy when life is a little tough!
God is powerful - He is the one who created us, and He loves praise!
On Friday night we had a 'Praise Party' as a family, to praise God for our family, health and for everything He is doing in our lives.
My mom, sisters and I prepared a three-course meal for supper.
Preparing the tartlets.
Gabrielle helping prepare the chicken and butternut lasagne.
This was our menu:
Starter: roast tomato tartlets
Main Course: butternut and chicken lasagne
Dessert: bread and butter pudding with custard
I then cut out a whole lot of little strips of paper, for us to write our praises on. Each family member was given five or six strips of paper, on which they had to write 'Praise God For:' and their praise. Once that was done, we folded them in half and popped them into a small basket.
Before supper, we had communion as a family, which is a very important part of our week. Christ's death and resurrection is something that we appreciate a lot.
We then had supper, which was very yummy!
Gabrielle eating her starter.
Once we had had the main course, we read each other's praises. We all took turns to take a piece of paper from the basket and read it aloud.
Gabrielle's praises were very hard to understand, so we gave them to her to read aloud!
Beth and Daddy.
Then it was time to have dessert.....yummy! We all loved it! It was the first time that I had tried bread and butter pudding!
And so ended our lovely evening of prayer, praise and fellowship!
I will share the recipes with you in a later post!
So I encourage you to have a praise party! The time of praising the Lord is so special, especially when doing so as a family!
Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks (praise) in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus

My mom tied a pretty pink bow on the bottom of the card.
I popped out a few presents, which I think really looks sweet!
That is all for now!
Blessings to all,
Kelly-Anne

More Little Guinea Pig Babies!
We have more Guinea Pig babies!
Cocoa, Beth's guinea pig, gave birth to them some time yesterday! There are two babies, and the one looks exactly like Cocoa!
I was cleaning the cages yesterday and as I lifted off the box of their home, I saw two, PLUS two more guinea pigs there!
We were really excited!
Our other female, who had the last litter, should have her babies very soon! Her last litter we sold to the pet shop.
Cocoa's babies are really cute! Here are their photos.
Here is the baby that looks exactly like it's mother!
Here is the other one, suckling!
I will post more photos of them soon!
Enjoy the rest of your week!
Blessings,
Kelly-Anne

Peregrine Farmstall
I thought I would share with you pictures of our outing to Peregrine, a lovely farmstall which we often visit! We have always loved this farmstall, and recently started supplying two jars of our fudge there!
It is very well known in our home for their amazing Chelsea Buns! It is a tradition in our family, that whenever we visit the Overberg, we get Chelsea buns! They are big and we enjoy
eating Chelsea Buns! Yum!
Nancy
Beth
Gabrielle
Another thing that has always been at Peregrine, since Nancy and I were small, are their tractors! Old ones that are used in the playground! Every one of my sisters has played on the tractors!
Beth driving her tractor.
Gabrielle just fitted into the drivers seat!
And Rebekah even drove on her tractor! She loved it!
Here are some other pictures that my dad and I took!
My sisters and I on on of the tractors. Photo in Sepia.
Photo in color.
Gabrielle
I just had to smell the beautiful roses!
My sister took this photo of me!
My mom and dad.
Beth.
The sunset on the drive home. We saw it along Sir Lowery's pass.
We had such a lovely time!
Blessings,
