Thursday Pearls

 "I work for a King. He has put me in charge of his home. When He comes to see how I have managed His possessions and His children, I do not want to be found wanting. I want to do my best. Everything I have is on loan from Him. I have room and board and a job to do, but it is all for Him. Therefore I want to dress my best and do my best in all my work. I also want to be creative, for this is a sincere attempt to glorify Him and His beautiful creation. How I manage my home is a form of worship to Him."

~ Lydia Sherman

{Some lovely encouragement for the dear mothers in our lives who have laid down so much to raise arrows for the Kingdom of God...and to all the mothers to be now and in the future...}
~
 ''And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.  And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.''

~ Deuteronomy 6:5-7, KJV

Yes! This was simply beautiful, my sweet friend ♥ And the words truly echo the heart of women who desire to serve Him, even if it is "just" in their homes. Thank you for sharing these inspiring words today! They were such a blessing to read, and something that I think we all need to be reminded of often {I know I do!!}.

Thinking of you and your dear family :) Hoping all is well with you all!!

Sending much love, many hugs, and lots of blessings!!

"How I manage my home is a form of worship"...oh, how I love that sweet Kelly-Anne.
How is your mom? I enjoyed your previous discussion on being the oldest in the family. I too am the oldest and appreciated your thoughts and comment. Hugs...Linda

Beautiful, Kelly-Anne~~
This is so true, if we have the proper attitude and outlook on or precious place in the home, then we find great joy and contentment in serving the Lord with all that comes with homemaking.
It really is a privilege to care for our homes that God has so graciously blessed us with.

Thank you for sharing your beauty with us.
I pray your mom is doing well?

Blessings~~
