"Your life is short, your duties many, your assistance great, and reward sure; therefore faint not, hold on and hold up in ways of well-doing, and heaven shall make amends for all."
~ Thomas Brooks
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day..."

Hi Kelly-Anne, A beautiful illustration and verse this Thursday. I imagine with Spring in your area, you will have many opportunities to study God's word outdoors. It lifts my spirits to be able to hear the birdsong and feel the breeze on my face. We had two days of light rain and our roses are glistening in the sun this a.m.
Have a lovely day, Mildred xo
Such a lovely and encouraging quote, dearest Kelly-Anne. Life is indeed busy and sometimes it gets overwhelming, but this quote is a breath of fresh air and such a precious reminder that it's all worth it in the end :)
Hugs, blessings, and love to you!
You have a beautiful blog Kelly-Anne, new follower here :)
Thank you for sharing this beautiful quote and bible verse Kelly-Anne! Have a blessed day my friend! <3
Just lovely, Kelly-Anne.
So very true, our lives are short, and as one gets older one realizes it even more so.
Our assistance is needed in so many ways as we walk this life of faith with our Jesus. People all around us have needs in some way or another, and we need to be sensitive and available.
God graces us with the ability to accomplish those things for Him that He calls us to do, and in the end He will be well pleased.
I enjoy your Thursday Pearls, thank you!
Blessings ~ Debbie
Also, I thought I would say thank you so much for your sweet comments and visits over at my blog! :) They mean so much to me and you always make my day! I am so happy that I have found a new friend and sister in Christ! :)
Yes, dear Kelly-Anne, pearls of wisdom in these words. What a lovely and serene painting by Melinda Byers. I love it. And what a wonderful quote and, best of all, the reminder that all our efforts will be a crown of righteousness that we shall lay at His feet some day. And, yes, life is short. Our lives are like a mist...here today and gone tomorrow. Let's all keep on keeping on for His glory! Have a blessed rest of the week, sweet friend! Hugs!
Dear Kelly-Anne, this is beautiful and after a long busy day, I needed to read this. Thank you for sharing. You are such a blessing my friend.
