Thoughtful Thursday

"A truly humble man is sensible of his natural distance from God;
of his dependence on Him; of the insufficiency of his own power and wisdom;
and that it is by God's power that he is upheld and provided for,
and that he needs God's wisdom to lead and guide him, and His might
to do what he ought to do for Him."

~ Jonathan Edwards

" Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might."  - Ephesians 6:10, KJV

Praying each you sweet readers have a beautifully blessed Thursday!

Perfect for Thoughtful Thursday! I'm in a hurry as I'm back at work this week, but wanted to check in on my favorites before I leave. I don't have to be in until 11 AM today since we stay until 5 PM for Meet Your Teacher night. Looking forward to meeting my sweet, new kinders! Have a blessed day my friend.

Hugs, Vicky

A beautiful photo, dear Kelly-Anne, and what a precious quote from Jonathan Edwards! Yes, would we always be reminded of the power of God and our insufficiency to do anything without Him. He holds us in the palm of His hand, and may we always depend on Him! Praise God! Hugs!
