Celebrating Love GIVEAWAY!!

Whilst I am still on a blogging break, I thought I would take a moment to share some happiness with you!

I love showing you all how much you mean to me and I greatly appreciate your rich fellowship and sweet encouragement, so I am offering a lovely little something for your homes…

As this month is February…the month of love, I have asked my dear, creative sister to make something very fitting and truly ‘’love-ly” as a gift for one sweet reader!

 Nancy creates beautiful pictures with fabrics and her sewing machine, and she is working on a range of lovely cushions and wall hangings which she is hoping to market at our stall each Saturday…I absolutely adore her work (and not simply because she is my sister...), and she is making me one or two sweet wall hangings for my sewing room which is in progress at the moment in my mind…{{smiles}}

She very kindly agreed to make a pretty wall hanging for one lovely reader…  It says, “Love’’, which I thought was very appropriate for February (and all year round!) when our focus should be on loving one another as Christ first loved us…don’t you think having this pretty wall hanging in your home would be a wonderful reminder to love others…?

Fabric Happiness and Reindeer...

Happy August, dear readers!
  After taking some lovely time off in July to visit sweet friends, I think it is high time I begin working in earnest on my fabric reindeer in preparation for the Christmas season...

I spend about three hours on each reindeer, and sew the paw pads and antlers whilst sitting at the market on a Saturday morning...this is a lovely way to pass the time and do something constructive while watching my stall...

Here are two of the sweet reindeers I recently finished... ❤

 I have hopes of updating the Heartmade blog sometime in the week ahead, so do stay 'posted' for a glimpse of a few of the creations we've been busy with lately...
You will also be able to 'meet' the reindeer, which are such a lovely additon to Heartmade
and a true pleasure to make...

My fabric stash was looking quite sad, so I paid a quick visit to our local quilting shop and fell in love with these gorgeous fabrics...oh!  I simply can't wait to begin creating...

Beautiful pink fabric with a vintagey feel...I love the faded roses...

 Some cheerful green fabric...I love the happy design!

...And I simply could not resist these lovelies...happy sigh...

Thus, my sewing machine is going to be quite busy in the week ahead, so if things are somewhat quiet here over the next few days, you will know why...❤

Today is beautifully overcast and just a little chilly...rain during the night and early morning

left the earth shining and fresh...  Dainty water droplets adorn the flowers, like diamonds...  

I just finished baking a deliciously rich chocolate cake for Lady Beth's birthday tomorrow,
